Our principal and staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
Principal's welcome message
Welcome to Riverstone High School, a vibrant and inclusive community dedicated to nurturing every student’s unique potential. Situated on Dharug land and deeply connected to the Riverstone community, our school proudly serves a diverse student body. With a strong commitment to quality teaching, learning, and wellbeing, we support each student to achieve their individual learning goals while always striving for their personal best.
At Riverstone High School, we believe in fostering resilience and high aspirations to prepare our students for the ever-evolving and complex world ahead. Our culture of high expectations motivates and engages all members of our community, students, staff, and families alike to thrive and grow together.
We provide a comprehensive education for students from Years 7 to 12, offering a broad and engaging curriculum supported by future-focused learning spaces. Students can access a wide range of academic and vocational pathways, including HSC and Vocational Education courses, and benefit from opportunities through the Nirimba Collegiate - ensuring that every student can pursue a pathway that suits their interests and strengths.
We are proud to offer a targeted Extension Class for identified high potential and gifted students, with a focus on the Intellectual and Social-Emotional domains. This program delivers a deliberately differentiated curriculum across all key learning areas, promoting higher-order thinking, student agency, and learning experiences that foster depth, complexity, and intellectual risk-taking. Through this approach, students are both academically extended and supported to develop the motivation, resilience, and learning behaviours needed for sustained success.
Our Inclusive Education Unit provides tailored support for students with mild intellectual and multi-categorical disability, promoting integration, targeted wellbeing support and personalised learning experiences. Partnerships with our local partner primary schools ensure a smooth transition into high school. As our community continues to grow, we warmly welcome new families to join us on this exciting journey.
We look forward to welcoming you to Riverstone High School, where your child’s education is a partnership, and every student is empowered to reach their full potential and achieve their personal best.
Jennifer Dane, Principal of Riverstone High School
