Good Morning and welcome to Week 9!
This week sees the start of our Year 11 Assessment Period and the continuation of online classes and assessments for Years 7-10. Congratulations to all of the students prioritising their education and making the most of their online learning. Doing what we can now is the best step towards maintaining some consistency in our learning in preparation for when we return to school.
As we stated last week, the NSW Department of Education is working closely with NSW Health to help guide the return to school plan that is scheduled to commence October 25th, with the first day of return for some of our students being November 1st. Like you, we have lots of questions about how this will look for our students and we are awaiting more advice on some of the practicalities of bringing students back to school in a COVID safe way. As we continue to refine our plan for RHS to return to face-to-face teaching, we will keep you updated.
Year 11 Assessment Period
Year 11 commence their Assessment Period timetable today. This means there are no scheduled classes for Year 11, only the examinations listed and time for them to complete their final assessments. You can find more information on the examination timetable HERE. Good luck to these students as they complete their final assessments and prepare to commence their HSC on the first day of Term 4.
