Showcase is our annual concert extravaganza held in the Jack Lang Auditorium at Riverstone High School. Showcase provides an opportunity for our students, as well as students from our local partner primary schools to perform on stage and display their talents, skills and abilities to our local community.
There are dance, drama and music acts from Years 8, 9 and 10 classes as well as special guest acts from Riverstone Public School, Schofields Public School and Vineyard Public School.
Auditions
Students are also able to audition their own acts for showcase. The audition process begins at the beginning of Term 3. Download the audition form process (PDF 125.9KB) for more information about the requirements.
2018 Showcase timeline
- Term 3, Week 1: Audition forms available from the PE staffroom
- Term 3, Week 3: T-shirt order forms available from the PE staffroom
- Term 3, Week 5: Audition forms are due back to PE staffroom. No forms will be accepted after this week.
- Term 3, Week 6: T-shirt order forms due back to front office. No orders will be accepted after this week. Audition afternoon for students who have returned their forms.
- Term 3, Week 7: Tickets released for sale.
- Term 3, Week 8: Callbacks
- Term 3, Week 10: Tuesday 25 September periods 4 and 5 whole cast walkthrough, Wednesday 26th September all day whole cast walkthrough, Thursday 27 September matinee and evening performances
2018 performances
With only 1 matinee and 1 evening show, tickets are always hot property. Tickets will go on sale closer to the event.
