Cross Country
Riverstone High School Cross Country (competitors only) is held annually in Term 1. Students race around the school track and compete within their age group. The distance of their race is based on the age groups listed below. The top 8 placings for each event will qualify for the Blacktown Zone Cross Country Carnival which is held at Wyndham College during Term 2.

Athletics
Riverstone High School Athletics Carnival will be held annually in Term 2. Students will compete in various throwing, jumping and running events within their allocated age group. The events that students will compete in throughout the day are;
100m sprint
200m sprint
400m sprint
Discus
Javelin
High Jump
Long Jump
Shot Put
The top two placings for each event will qualify for Blacktown Zone Athletics Carnival which will be held at the end of Term 2 at Charlie Bali Reserve, Doonside.
