Dear Riverstone High School community,
Due to the current severe weather and the risk to student and staff safety, Riverstone High School will only be operational for minimal supervision on Friday 8 April and students should learn from home where possible. A minimal number of staff will be on site.
This decision has been based on updated advice regarding local flooding and road closures.
While our school is operating under minimal supervision, our teachers will provide educational continuity for your children, but we understand that access to services may be affected by the weather, or that students may not be able to participate at this time.
For Friday 8 April, students learning from home have the following options.
- Students should log onto their Google Classroom at the beginning of each timetabled lesson and follow the instructions for that class.
- Learning activities can be found on the department's website: Learning from Home
- Students can continue with homework tasks, assignments and reading.
